Search Manager - Melbourne
We are looking for a Search Marketing Manager who is keen to work in a well resourced, fully staffed, forward planning Search Agency which is part of one of Australia's largest Media Groups.
Main duties in the Role
- To retain a portfolio of clients working to a 90% retention rate
- To manage portfolio of clients, ensuring an in depth understanding and responsibility for the monthly management of billings for each client.
- To provide key strategic directions on major accounts
- To establish and maintain strong relationships with clients by face to face meetings, telephone and email communication
- Be commerical astute enough to be comfortable presenting account strategy to senior corporate marketing teams.
- To be able to use your extensive experience and search related skills to mentor and coach junior members of staff.
- To work closely with the Search Analyst to gather, monitor and analyse performance data ongoing strategy throughout the length of the campaign/contract
- Working closely with the Search Analyst to develop PPC titles, creative for listings & optimising response ROI
- Optimise clients campaigns on a daily basis working with the Bid Management Tool
- Project managing campaigns developing timetables and setting deadlines for clients
- Produce weekly monthly and quarterly status reports to each client.
- Write client strategy, up sell new products and ensure the client sees you at all times as an extension of their marketing department
- Researching market trends, responding to seasonal market fluctuations and modifying campaigns accordingly
- Working closely with the Search Analyst to construct and write reporting insights for both clients and the Media teams.
